Informations biographiques

Père Porelle a fait ses études à l’Université Saint-Joseph en humanités et philosophie et à l’Université Laval, Québec en théologie. Il a été ordonné à la prêtrise le 4 mai 1943 à Cap-Pelé, par Mgr Norbert Robichaud, archevêque de Moncton. Il a été vicaire à Shédiac de 1943 à 1944, vicaire à Saint-Louis-de-Kent de 1944 à 1945, vicaire à Dieppe et Moncton en 1945; curé à Pointe-Sapin en 1951, curé à Acadieville en 1955, curé à Baie-Sainte-Anne en 1960, curé à Shédiac de 1965 à 1975 et curé à Shemogue de 1975 à 1981. Il a pris sa retraite le 5 novembre 1981.2
