Born in Amherst, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph (Obey) Elie and Mary Ann (McInnis) Legere. She was a member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church and UCW, Springhill. She belonged to Imperial Oil of the Daughters of the Empire and All Saints Springhill Hospital Auxiliary. She was a founding member of Nova Scotia Hairdressers Association. She is survived by two sons, D. Keith, J. Gary, both of Springhill; sister, Mrs. Pearl Collins, El Paso, Texas; six grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William Davidson (Spark); sister, Lillian; brother, Ernest. The body is in A.H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Patrick Cosgrove officiating. Burial will be in church cemetery, North Street, Springhill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society or any charity.

He is survived by his wife, the former Dorothy LeGere; daughter, Joan (Mrs. Eric Orde), Granville Ferry, Annapolis County; son, Greg, Westfield, Queens County; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas. The body is in St. Jerome's Roman Catholic Church, visiting 7-9 p.m. today, where prayers will be 8 p.m. tonight, and where funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Michael Theriault officiating. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Mabel Leblanc, in 1970. The body is at Furlong's Funeral Home, Amherst. Funeral mass will be Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Joggins, Rev. William Slaney officiating. Burial will be in the Ragged Reef Cemetery.

    Mrs. Cleo Legere, 74, 2 Kennedy Drive, Glace Bay, died Saturday in Glace Bay General Hospital. Born in New Waterford, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Jane (MacEachern) McMaster. She was a member of St. Anne's Church,
    Glace Bay. She is survived by her husband, George; a daughter, Annette (Mrs. Daniel MacIsaac), Glace Bay; a son, Raymond, Goodsoil, Sask.; a brother, Archy, New Waterford; six sisters, Alberta and Annie Mae, both of Glace Bay; Sister Andrea Marie, Mother-house, Bedford; Alexandra (Mrs. Ernie Sargent), Kentucky; Frances (Mrs. Gary MacDonald), Vancouver; Mrs. Claire McClelland, New Victoria. The body is in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, Glace Bay. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., today, in St. Anne's Church. Rev. Joseph Muise officiating. Burial will be in parish cemetery.

    MacMASTER, Sister Andrea (Andrea Marie) -
    79, Mount Saint Vincent Motherhouse, Halifax, died January 20, 1993, in Victoria General Hospital. Born in New Waterford, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Jane (McEachern) MacMaster. She entered the Sisters of Charity, Halifax in 1930 and made her religious profession in 1933. She taught for many years in Nova Scotia, Vancouver and Massachusetts and also worked at the Halifax Infirmary, St. Brigid's Home, Quebec and St. Joseph's Orphanage, Halifax. She retired to Mount Saint Vincent Motherhouse in 1982. She is survived by a brother, Archy, Halifax; four sisters, Alexandria, Kentucky; Ann Mary, Frances, both of Vancouver, B.C.; Claire, New Victoria; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Alberta, Cleophas Legere. The body will be in Mount Saint Vincent Motherhouse, visiting after 3 p.m. today. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Mount Saint Vincent Motherhouse Chapel, Msgr. J. Nil Theriault officiating. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
