Rhéal was a retired teacher, having taught at schools in northeastern and southeastern New Brunswick, including Polyvalente LouisJ.-Robichaud and École Vanier. He graduated in 1950 from Teachers College in Fredericton and continued his studies at Collège St-Joseph in Memramcook, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1958. He was also a graduate of Université de Moncton, receiving a Bachelor of Education in 1964 and a Master of Education in 1979.
M. Blanchard était un enseignant retraité, a yant enseigné dans des écoles du Nord-Est et du Sud-Est du Nouveau-Brunswick, y compris la polyvalente Louis-J. Robichaud et l'école Vanier. Il est diplômé du Teachers College de Fredericton (1950). Il a obtenu un baccalauréat en éducation de l'Université de Moncton (1964) et une maîtrise en éducation de l'Université de Moncton en 1979.1
