L. G. LeBlanc Buctouche (Special) -
Lewis G. LeBlanc, 65, of Buctouche died Monday at Manoire St. Jean Baptiste, Buctouche after a lengthy illness. Born in Buctouche, he was a son of the late Gonzague and Adeline (Renault) LeBlanc. He was a school bus driver for District 12 for several years. He is survived by his wife, the former Maria LeBlanc; three sons, Rheal of St. Anselme, Charles and Claude, both of Buctouche; four daughters, Mrs. Edward Cormier (Louise) of St. Marie, Mrs. Laurie LeBlanc (Huberte) of St. Louis, Mrs. Jean-Paul Despres (Murielle) of Cocagne and Mrs. Rheal Leger (Joanne) of St. Antoine; three brothers, Joseph (Babe) and Zephir, both of St. Anselme, and Gerald of Cocagne; six sisters, Mrs. Eva Bourgeois and Mrs. Exelda Brouillet, both of Gardiner, Mass., Mrs. Sedee Hebert of Moncton, Mrs. Ray Cormier (Aurore), Mrs. Germaine Melanson and Mrs. Johnny Spencer (Ida), all of Dieppe; 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews. A brother, Antellien, and a sister, Mrs. Lydie Boucher, died previously. The body is Maillet Funeral Home, Buctouche. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Jean the Baptiste Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
