Mrs. A. LeBlanc ST. ANTHONY (Special) -
Mrs. Amanda LeBlanc, 84, widow of Neri LeBlanc, of St. Anthony died Monday at her home after a Lengthy illness. Born in St. Anthony she was a daughter of the late William and Apauline (Leger) Cormier. She is survived by six sons, Normand of St. Damien, Richard, Walter and Donald, all of St. Anthony, Gerald of Saint John and Clarence of Notre Dame; seven daughters, Mrs. Edgar Melanson (Sarah), Mrs. Eddy LeBlanc (Imelda) and Mrs. Angus Berse (Eugenie), all of Moncton, Mrs. Albert Martin (Rosalyn) and Mrs. Harold Anderson (Juliette), both of Toronto, Mrs. John Whelan (Geraldine) of Vancouver and Mrs. Arthur Babin (Fernande) of Richibucto; three brothers, Zoel of Gardner, Mass., Meleme and Tranquille, both St. Damien; three sisters, Mrs. Yvonne LeBlanc of St. Damien, Mrs. Placide Robichaud (Delima) and Mrs. Beatrice Collette, both of St. Anthony; 34 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Two sisters, Marie-Rose and Mrs. Elize LeBlanc, two brothers, Wilfred and Juste and a daughter, Aline, all died previously. The body is at St. Antoine Roman Catholic Church where funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. Arrangements are in care of Maillet's Funeral home, Buctouche.
