JOHNSON, Margaret Rose -
73, of Indian Harbour passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012, peacefully at home. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anne Legere. Over the years she was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. Margaret worked for the Army Command and Dalhousie purchasing department as a secretary. In her younger years she had a passion for swimming and taught for the school for the blind. She is survived by son, Garth; granddaughter, Kyla; sister, Monica; brother, Cyril; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul; brothers, Jack, Tom and Joe. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, August 22nd, in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. Interment will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, August 24th, in Oakridge Memory Gardens, Lower Sackville.
