Mrs. V. Hache BATHURST (Special) -
Mrs. Victoria Hache, 82, widow of Albenie Hache and formerly of Union Street, Bathurst, died, Thursday in Hospital in Charmy, Que., after a short illness. Born in Caraquet, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah (Theriault) Lacroix. She was a school teacher for 37 years in New Brunswick and Quebec, retiring 20 years ago. She moved to Charny 15 years ago. Her husband died in 1963. She is survived by three sons, Raymond of Baie Comeau, Que., Euclide of Bathurst and Paul Hache of Charny, Que.; a daughter, Mrs. Marc Levesque (Cecile) of Charny, Que.; a brother, Theodule Lacroix of Caraquet; two sisters, Mrs. Leon Legere (Maria) of Caraquet and Mrs. Eucharist Chiasson (Julienne) of Caraquet; and 12 grandchildren. The body will be at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst after 7 p.m. today. Funeral mass will be celebrated Sunday at 6:30 p.m. from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cathedral, Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
