P.G. Girouard -
The death of Paul G. Girouard of 203 Wesley Street, Moncton, occurred at Moncton Hospital Tuesday. He was 57. Born at Buctouche, he was a son of the late Donat A. and Lezzie-Anne (Picard) Girouard. Mr. Girouard was a pharmacist with Acadia Drug and attended the Assumption Cathedral. He was a member of the local Legion branch having served overseas for four years with the Air Force during the Second World War. He is survived by his wife the former Ina Daigle; two daughters, Mrs. John Byrne (Pauline) of Brantford, Ont., and Simone at home; five sisters, Mrs. Lewis O'Conor (Donalda) and Mrs. Caryle Murray (Gilberte), both of Montreal, Mrs. Roger LeBlanc (Fernnande) and Mrs. Arthur Leger (Laurence), both of Moncton and Ms. Edwin Lynette (Lucille) of Niagara Falls, Ont.; and one grandchild. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home, 88 Church Street. THe funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from the Assumption Cathedral. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in the spring.
