Death Of E. Doiron SHEDIAC (Special) -
The death of Emile Doiron of Shediac occurred at Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital, Moncton, following a lengthy illness. He was 64. Born in Barachois, he was a son of the late Thomas Doiron and Evangeline Gautreau. An employee of New Brunswick Telephone Co Ltd., he attended St. Henri Church in Barachois. He was a member of NB Tel Pioneers of America. Besides his wife, the former Rita Bourgeois and his mother, he is survived by three daughters, Marie Anne, at home, Mrs. Norman Landry (Lorraine), Dupuis Corner and Mrs. Francis Gauvin (Dorise), Fox Creek; three sons. Arsene, Dupuis Corner, Aldrice, Point du Chene and Alcide, Shediac Bridge; five sisters, Mrs. Stan Strofolino (Eva), South Newark, Conn., Mrs. Willie Lirette (Amanda), Moncton, Mrs. Anna Leger, Edmonton and Mrs. Alyre LeBlanc (Elizabeth), Moncton ; five brothers, Leandre, Moncton, Camille, Barachois, Antoine, St. Jean, N.B., Leonide, Montreal and Thadde, Coburg, Ont. and 10 grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home, Shediac, with funeral service Thursday at 4:15 p.m. at St. Henri Church, Barachois Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
