Robert Gould
1924-1997
Robert (Rob) Gould, 72, of Moncton and formerly of Memramcook East passed away on Thursday, April 17, 1997 at The Dr. Geroges-L. Dumont Hospital following a sudden illness.
Born November 20, 1924 in Memramcook East, N.B., he was the son of the late Willie and Lucie (Dupuis) Gould. Until retirement he was employed with N.B. Liquor Corporation (Moncton).
He is survived by his long-time companion, Audrey; two daughters, Doris (Léon-Guy) Leger of St-Joseph and Rose-Mai (Frank) Vinet of Moncton; five sons: Frank (Louise) Gould of Moncton, Eugene (Carmella) Gould of St-Joseph, Yvon (Simonne) Gould of Shediac, Regis (Annette) Gould of St-Joseph and Marcel (Charline) Gould of St-Anselme; one brother, Roy Gould of St-Joseph; 13 grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Marguerite (LeBlanc) Gould in 1961; one son, Allain Gould in 1978; two brothers, Emile and Ephrem.
Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home Ltd., Memramcook, with visiting Sunday, April 20 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, April 21 from 2 to 6:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East, on Monday, April 21, 1997 at 7 p.m. with Father Guy Leger officiating. Interment in the Parish Cemetery Memramcook East.
