Pauline R. Ricard
Pauline Ruth Albert Ricard, 76, of New Bedford, Mass., formerly of Auburn, died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 7, at her home.
Born in Auburn, Sept. 3, 1923, the daughter of the late Francois and Idella Olivier Albert, she graduated from St. Louis School in Auburn. She worked in various shoe shops as a fancy stitcher until her retirement.
She enjoyed swimming, traveling and most of all she loved to be at family and friend gatherings. She was the life of the party and made everyone feel special and they all loved her.
Survivors include three sons, Peter Michael of Blytheville, Ark., Albert Napoleon of New York and David Brian of New Bedford, Mass.; one daughter, Denise Priscilla Bannon of New Bedford, Mass.; two sisters, Mrs. Fernand (Lorraine Albert) Plante and Priscilla Albert, both of Lewiston; her companion of 24 years, Phillip Leger of New Bedford, Mass.; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren of New Bedford, Mass.; two nieces, Jacqueline Favreau and Linda Angelides of Lewiston; and one nephew, Michael Plante of Lewiston.
She was predeceased by a son, Paul Thomas.
