SAINT-ANTOINE, NB - Elzéar Richard, 83, husband of Dianne (LeBlanc) Richard of Saint-Antoine, NB, passed away at the Dr. G.L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB on Monday, September 26, 2005 after a lengthy illness. Born in Saint-Antoine, NB on September 10, 1922, he was the son of the late Joseph Richard and the late Adeline Gosselin. He was a carpenter and he attended Saint-Antoine L'Ermite Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Antoine. Elzéar is survived by his wife, Dianne Richard; three daughters, Adrienne Williams (Guy), Rosemonde Mazerolle (Ronald) both of Saint-Antoine, Ginette Landry (Maurice) of Moncton; eight sons, Aldérice (Claudette) of Moncton, Paul (Francine), Denis (Jacqueline), Daniel (Josette), Roméo (Ginette) all of Saint-Antoine, Fernand (Antonine), Maurice (Pauline) both of Bouctouche, Evariste (Juliette) of Saint-Marie de Kent; seven sisters, Anita Léger, Cécile Richard, Alma Richard, Thérèse LeBlanc (Ovila) all of Saint-Antoine, Flora Melanson of Notre-Dame, Marie Bourque (Claude) of Moncton, Florence Gosselin (Aimé) of Gardner, Mass; one brother, Zoel of Gardner, Mass; 20 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one grandson, Michel; four sisters, Yvonne, Edna, Lorette, Aurélie; two brothers, Henri and Joseph. Resting at Saint-Antoine l'Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine with visitation on Wednesday, September 28 from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:45 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Saint-Antoine L'Ermite Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Antoine on Thursday, September 29, 2005 at 8:00 pm. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery.
