Dorella M. (LeBlanc) Gordon
FITCHBURG -- Dorella M. (LeBlanc) Gordon, 73, of 1 Joslin Place, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, in her home, after a long illness.
Mrs. Gordon was a member of St. Boniface Parish in Lunenburg, loved to travel and recently visited Russia; and she enjoyed sewing and her grandchildren, great grandchildren and family.
She was born in Leominster on Nov. 18, 1931, a daughter of the late Alderic and Delia (Leger) LeBlanc and lived here all of her life.
Her husband of 43 years, Francis “Frank” N. Gordon died in 1996.
She leaves four sons, Robert F. Gordon and his wife, Cynthia, of Fitchburg, David J. Gordon and his wife, Gail, of Leominster, John P. Gordon and his wife, Celeste, of Fitchburg and Brian J. Gordon and his wife, Kelly, of Fitchburg; four daughters, Deborah A. Poisson of Fitchburg, Donna L. Townsend and her husband, Stanley, of Corpus Christie, Texas, Lori A. LeBlanc and her husband, Keith, of Ashburnham, and Julie A. Muldoon and her husband, Brian, of Ayer; six brothers, Clarence LeBlanc in Kentucky, Gerry LeBlanc of Winchendon, Norman LeBlanc in Canada, Raymond LeBlanc of San Bernandino, Calif., and Andy LeBlanc and John LeBlanc, both of Leominster; six sisters, Stella Graham, Jeanette Miller, Linda Schawn, Margaret Iacabone, Gloria Lefeebvre and Theresa Doucet, all of Leominster; 14 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Roger LeBlanc of New Ipswich, N.H., and a granddaughter, Tiffany Borrows.
GORDON -- Dorella M. (LeBlanc) Gordon, 73, of Fitchburg. The funeral will be held on Monday, Nov. 7, from The Smith-Mallahy-Masciarelli Funeral Home, (www.masciarellifamilyfuneralhomes.net), 243 Water St., Fitchburg, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Boniface Church, 817 Mass Ave., Lunenburg. Burial will be in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Fitchburg. Calling hours at the funeral home are 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6. Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions may be made to the St. Boniface Parish Renovation Fund, 817 Mass Ave., Lunenburg, MA 01462, or may be left at the funeral home.
