FITCHBURG - Camille J. Landry, 86, of Franklin Road, died Friday, Aug. 18, at the Birchwood Care Center.
He was the husband of the late Theresa (Hebert) Landry, who died in 1994. Mr. Landry was born on April 3, 1920, in New Brunswick, Canada, a son of Patrick and Loenie (Gaudet) Landry, and had lived in Canada until moving to the area in 1946.
Mr. Landry was a machinist for Simon Saw and Parks-Creamer in Fitchburg until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of St. Joseph church and the Franco-American club.
Mr. Landry is survived by a son, Frank P. Landry and his wife, Rose, of Leominster; two daughters, Diane Y. Page and Janine C. Freda, both of Fitchburg; one brother, Ernest Landry and his wife, Theresa, of New Brunswick, Canada; three sisters, Theresa Richard, Madeline Leger and Marie-Louise Bourque, all of New Brunswick, Canada; and three grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Azore, Jude and Ambrose Landry, and Amanda Cormier.
LANDRY - On Aug. 18, Camille J. Landry, 86, of Fitchburg. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 46 Woodland St., Fitchburg. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the Louis M. Isabelle Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon St., Fitchburg.
