Mrs. W. Cormier -
The death of Mrs. Apauline Cormier, widow of William Cormier of St. Damien, occurred in St. Damien Monday following a lengthy illness. She was 92. Born in Buctouche, she was a daughter of the late Melime and Cenile (LeBlanc) Leger, both of Buctouche. A retired housewife, she attended the St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the St. Anne Society. Her husband died in 1937. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Ben LeBlanc (Elise) of Moncton, Mrs. Sylvain Collette (Beatrice) of St. Anthony, Mrs. Neri LeBlanc (Amanda) of St. Damien, Mrs. Arthur Gaudet (Marie Rose) of Leominister, Mass., Mrs. PIacide Robichaud (Delima) of St. Paul and Mrs. Alyre LeBlanc (Yvonne) of St. Damien; four sons, Wilfred and Zoel of Gardner, Mass., Melime with whom she resided in St. Damien, and Tranquile of St. Damien, along With 36 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was member of a family of four. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home, 88 Church Street, Moncton. The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church. Entombment will be in the St. Anthony parish cemetery vault awaiting burial in the spring.
