Dominique Arsenault SHEDIAC (Special) -
The death of Dominique Arsenault of 22 Chesley Street in Shediac, occurred Thursday at Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital folIowing a brief illness. Born in Buctouche, he was a son of the late Jean and Bebienne (Bastarache) Arsenault. He was born in 1879 and was a retired clerk with R. C. Tait, retiring in 1966 after 67 years of service. He was also caretaker at Greenwood cemetery at Point du Chene. His wife, the former Annie O'Brien, died in 1955. He is survived by six daughters, Mrs. John Leger (Virginie) of Toronto, Miss Alvina Arseneault, with whom he resided, Mrs. Percy Earle (Corinne) of Saint John, Miss Dorice Arseneault of Shediac, Mrs. Wilfred Ward (Geraldine) of Montreal, Mrs. Romeo Deroche (Murielle) of Val Cartier, Que.; four sons, Walter of Calgary, Andre of New Brunswick, Leo of St. Andre and Edgar of Base Val Cartier; one brother, Willie of Point du Chene; 38 grandchilren and eight great grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's Funeral home in Shediac with funeral mass to be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. at St.Joseph Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
