M. Robichaud Pointe Sapin (Special) -
The death of Maxime Robichaud of Pointe Sapin occurred Thursday at his home. He was 73. Born at Pointe Sapin, he was a son of the late Joseph M. and Mathilda (Fontaine) Robichaud. He was a fisherman all his life, retiring a few years ago. He is survived by his wife, the former Alice Martin, six daughters, Mrs. Joseph Dupres (Aurore) of Bathurst, Mrs. Rose-Marie Lewis of Pointe Sapin, Mrs. Frank Gauvin (Argentina) of Toronto, Mrs. Euclide Leger (Albertine) of Cap Pele, Mrs. Charles Dupres (Carmella) of Richibucto and Fernande of Moncton; seven sons, Albert of Moncton, Francois, Uldige, Alonzo, Maurice, Paul-Emile and Robert Robichaud, all of Pointe Sapin; three sisters, Mrs. Placide Durelle (Linda), Mrs. Alvin Martin (Mina) and Mrs. Alcide Martin (Marie), all of Baie St. Anne; 23 grandchildren; two great grandchildren. The body is resting at the slumber room, Roman Catholic Church at Pointe Sapin, where mass will be celebrated Sunday at a time to be announced. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
