Kenneth L. Wortman
Kenneth L. Wortman, 73, of Runnvmeade Road, Riverview, passed away on Sunday, February 26,1995 at The Moncton Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Harold and Eva (Leger) Wortman. He was a retired Captain with the R.C.A.F. with over 40 years service. He was a Veteran of World War II serving overseas with the R.C.A.F. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Virginia (Leaman) Wortman; one daughter Mrs. George Johnson (Linda) of Boca Raton, Fla, USA; one son Bob and Suzanne of Tweed, Ont.; two stepdaughters Mrs. John Dunnebacke (Heather) of Calgary, Alta, Mrs. Doug Taylor (Pamela) of Milford, N.S., one stepson Donald and Jan Chapman of Winnipeg, Man.; two grandchildren, David and Barbra; eight stepgrandchildren, Jason, Angela, Jon, Michael, Ryan, Allison and Evan; two brothers Curt and Helen of Fredericton, Laurie and Shirley of Moncton. Also, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Mrs. Hazel (VanBuskirk) Wortman in 1987.
Resting at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) with no visiting hours by request. Funeral service will be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, March 1, 1995 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Jack Allen and Rev. Ron Maund officiating. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton. The family will be receiving relatives and friends in the Funeral Home Reception Room following the service.
