A. Landry St. Joseph (Special) -
The death of Aurele Landry of Villa Heritage in Moncton and formerly of Memramcook West occurred Saturday morning at the Moncton Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 68. Born at Memramcook West, he was a son of the late Joseph and Arzelie (Melanson) Landry. He is survived by his wife, the former Alice Landry; two sons, Leonard of Moncton and Rheal Landry of Memramcook East; one daughter, Mrs. Leopold Leger (Jeannette) of Moncton; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Eveline LeBlanc of Moncton, Mrs. Oscar Leger (Zelma) of St. Joseph and Mrs. Lorraine Demell of Waltham, Mass.; one brother, Emery Landry, also of Waltham. The body is resting at Dupuis' funeral home, Memramcook. Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church, St. Joseph, with entombment in the parish cemetery vault to await burial later in the spring.
