Rosalie Leger St. Anthony (Special) -
The death of Mrs. Rosalie Leger, wife of Michael Leger of St. Anthony, occurred Friday at Villa du Repos, Elmwood Drive, Moncton, following a long illness. She was 85. Born at St Paul, Kent County, she was a daughter of the late David and Henriette (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Antoine LeBlanc (Ida) of Moncton, Mrs. Tilmon Belliveau (Bella) of Leominster, Mass., Mrs. Gerard Leger (Bertha) of Toronto and Mrs. Robert Myers {Germaine) of Woodstock, Ont.; one son, Alyre Leger of St. Anthony; four sisters, Miss Agnes LeBlanc and Mrs. Antoine Boudreau (Annie), both of Newark, N.J., Mrs. Fred Cormier (Ida) of St. Mary and Mrs. Alcide Melanson (Bella) of St. Paul, 28 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and by one great great grandchild. The body is resting at Richard's funeral home, Buctouche until Saturday afternoon when the body will be transferred to the St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church Hall. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church with entombment in the parish cemetery to await burial in the spring.
