Death Mrs. P. Caissie -
The death of Mrs. Olesime Caissie, wife of Pierre Caissie of St. Antoine occurred Monday at Stella Maris Hospital here following a lengthy illness. She was 80. Born in Buctouche, she was the daughter of the late Stanislas and Susanne (LeBlanc) Collette. Mrs. Caissie attended St. Antoine Roman Catholic Church. Surviving are, besides her husband, six daughters, Mrs. Omer Gaguen (Edmai), Dieppe, Mrs. Antoine Goguen (Zelia), Mrs. Irene Williams (Rita), Mrs. Zoel Cormier (Bertha) and Mrs. Yvon Cormier (Theraise), all of St. Antoine, and Mrs. Ernest Melanson (Lorraine) of Moncton; six sons, Edouard and Edgar, both of St. Antoine, Joseph, Gerard and Lionel, all of Moncton, and Aurele, Sarnia, Ont.; three adopted daughters, Miss Rose Anne and Mrs. Gerard Leger (Marie), both of Moncton, and Mrs. Leo Dionne (Adele), Rhode Island; two adopted sons, Jean of St. Maurice and Clorice, Mass.; 53 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home, Moncton until this afternoon, when it will be taken to her home to rest until time of the funeral Wednesday at 3:30 p m. from St. Antoine Roman Catholic Church. Following the funeral service the body will be placed in the parish cemetery vault to await interment in the spring.
