P. Vautour Port Elgin (Special) -
The death of Philias Vautour of Port Elgin occurred Friday at Sackville Memorial Hospital following a short illlness. He was 92. Born at Little Cape, Westmorland County, he was a son of the late Anthony and Auzite (Leger) Vautour. He was a retired laborer. He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Joseph Cormier (Sarah) and Mrs. Leo Donelle (Annie), both of Toronto, Mrs. James Margolis (Doris) of Quebec, Mrs. William Duguay (Jean) and Mrs. Charles Silliker (Irene), both of Port Elgin; seven sons, Arthur of Cap Pele, Emile of New Hampshire, Laurie and Ernie, both of Hamilton, Ont., Edgar, Eloi and Gerald, all of Port Elgin; 48 grandchildren and by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The body is resting at Jones Funeral Home, Port Elgin. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Clements Roman Catholic Church, Port Elgin with entombment in Sackville Cemetery vault.
