Rosalie Farrah Chatham (Special) —
The death of Mrs. Rosalie Farrah, widow of Charles Farrah of Chatham occurred Monday at Hotel Dieu here following a long illness. She was 89. Born at Barachois, she was a daughter of the late Angustine and Margaret (Boudreau) LeBlanc. She spent her early life in Rogersville. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ralph Martin (Mary Lou) of Hollywood, Cal., Miss Anne Farrah of Toronto, Miss Penny Farrah of Chatham and Mrs. George Moar (Margaret) of Chatham, with whom Mrs. Farrah resided; five sons, Joseph of Newcastle,William of Chatham, Abe of Saint John, Albert of Windsor, N.S., and Charles of Cheltenham, Ont.; four sisters, Mrs. Zelica Herrell of Chatham, Mrs. Joseph Richard of Rogersville, Mrs. Robert Morton of Bathurst, and Mrs. Amy Leger of St. Anthony; two brothers, Emile of Rogerville and Clifford of Bedford, Maine, 29 grandchildren and by 17 great grandchildren. The body is resting at Maher's funeral home, here. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery.
