Alyre D. Caissie
Alyre D. Caissie, 83, of Ward Street, Moncton, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 1995 at The Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital.
Born on May 16, 1911, in Grande Digue, he was the son of the late Edase and Emilie (Martin) Caissie. He was a retired electrician with the C.N.R. and a boilermaker with over 33 years of service. He attended Notre Dame de la Paix Roman Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife Ida LeBlanc; four daughters, Therese Caissie of Montreal, Que., Alina Caissie (Léonce Leger) of Montreal, Que., Annette (Allan) Madden of Campbellton, Patricia (Romeo) Poirier of Ottawa, Ont.; three sons, Maurice Caissie of Moncton, Arthur (Lucia) Caissie of Marlboro, Mass., Leonard Caissie of Saint John; two brothers, Johny and Ben Caissie of Ontario; two half-brothers, Fred Williams of Moncton, Lionel (Eva) Williams of Moncton; and several grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters Helen Brun and Elise Melanson.
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton with visiting hours on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Notre Dame de la Paix Roman Catholic Church, Humphrey on Friday, February 17, 1995 at 2 p.m.
