Mrs. Alvina Dupuis -
Mrs. Alvina Dupuis passed away Wednesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gerald Legere, 15 Mill Street, after two years of failing health. She had resided in Amherst for twenty years. The late Mrs. Dupuis was born at Memramcook, N.B., 81 years ago, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cormier. Her husband predeceased her 26 years ago. Surviving her are four sons, Frank, Dolph, Fred and Clovis, all of Amherst, three daughters, Millie (Mrs. Roy Legere) and Winnie (Mrs. Gerald Legere), both of Amherst and Eleanor (Mrs. Clarence Legere) of Moncton; one brother, Ned Cormier of Amherst and three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Laurette of Halifax, Mrs. William Dupuis and Mrs. Charles Landry, both of Amherst; 16 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The remains are resting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gerald Legere, 15 Mill Street. The funeral service will be held from St. Charles Roman Catholic Church Saturday morning at 9 o'clock.
