Guy Leger Buctouche (Special) -
Coroner Dr. Paul Emile LeBlanc of Buctouche has ruled no autopsy or inquest, will be held in connection with the highway death Sunday of a 20-year-old St. Anthony resident, Guy Leger. Mr. Leger was killed when the car he was driving left the Notre Dame highway about two miles from St. Anthony at 10:30 p.m., an RCMP spokeman said. Members of the St. Anthony Fire Department were at the scene of the accident and aided the RCMP in removing the youth who was pinned underneath the car, the RCMP spokesman said. The police spokesman said the road was wet but otherwise in good condition at the time of the accident. Born in Moncton, he was a son of Euclide and Doris (Gautreau) Leger and a member of the St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church. He was employed as a lumber grader in a saw mill. Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Gisele, a brother Gilles, both at home, maternal grandmother, Mrs. Antoine Gautreau of Pre d'En Haut. The body is to be forwarded today from the Richard's funeral home in Buctouche to the St. Anthony slumber room. Visiting hours are from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral mass will be held at 7 p.m, Wednesday at St Anthony Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
