N. Leger -
The death of Napolean Leger of Robichaud, Westmorland County, occurred Monday at Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital following a long illness. He was 89. Born at Robichaud, he was a son of the late Michel and Domithilde (Theriault) Leger. He was a retired farmer. His wife, the former Madeleine Landry, died in 1967. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Francis Blanchard (Rita) and Mrs. Normand Maillet (Yvonne), both of Sudbury, Ont., Mrs. Herve Gaudet (Albertine) of Robichaud, and Mrs. Francois Landry (Alice), of Moncton; three sons, Gerard, Alphee and Yvon Leger, all of Robichaud; one sister, Mrs. Bruno Melanson (Elise) of Robichaud; 25 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's Funeral Home, Shediac. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am. Wednesday at St Henrie-du-Barachois Roman Catholic Church with entombment in the parish cemetery vault to await burial in the spring.
