Emile Leger Cocagne (Special) -
Emile Leger, 23, of St. Anthony died early Saturday morning when his late model convertible, left the highway near here and hit a culvert. Leger was alone in the car. He died on arrival at hospital. The accident occurred at 2:15 a.m. Investigating RCMP from the Buctouche detachment could give no further details on the mishap which happened on the Cocagne Road at North Cocagne. There will be no inquest. Mr. Leger was bom in St. Anthony, August 12, 1942 , a son of Mr. and Mrs. Yvon (Lorainne Gaudet) Leger. For the past five years he had been employed as a machine operator. He attended St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church. Beside his parents, he is survived by one sister, Miss Adrienne Leger, Waltham, Mass.; and four brothers, Leonard, Roger, Paul-Eugene and Victor, all of St. Anthony. The body will be resting at Frenette's funeral home, 88 Church Street, Moncton, until noon today, when It will be transferred to his residence in St. Anthony. Funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
