Mrs. J. Leger -
The death of Mrs. Marguerite Leger, widow of Joseph Leger of St. Anthony occurred Saturday at Hotel Dieu following a lengthy illness. She was 65 years of age. She was born in St. Marie, Kent Co. a daughter of the late Olivier and Virginie (LeBlanc) Cormier. She attended St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church. Her husband predeceased her n 1956. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. William Belliveau (Lina), Leominster, Mass.; Mrs. Henire Arsenault (Nelida), St. Anthony; Mrs. Zenon Leger (Wilma), Leominster, Mass.; and Mrs. Malcolm Leger (Florine), Leominster, Mass.; two sons, Leo, with whom she resided and Levi, of St Anthony; two sisters, Mrs. Henrie Leger, Moncton and Mrs. Camille Richard of Leominister, Mass. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The body is resting at the home of her son, Leo in St. Anthony with funeral mass to be celebrated at St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St Anthony Parish cemetery.
