P. Nowlan Buctouche (Special) -
Pierre Nowlan, 78, of Villa du Repos, Moncton, and formerly of Buctouche, died Sunday at Dr. Georges L.. Dumont Hospital, Moncton after a lengthy illness. Born in Buctouche, he was a son of the late John and Phelogie (LeBlanc) Nowlan. He had been employed as a construction foreman with Dexter Construction. He is survived by his wife, the former Delma LeBlanc; one son, Peter of Buctouche; seven daughters, Mrs. Lilliane Forte and Mrs. Blanche LeBlanc, both of Moncton, Mrs. Clarance LeBlanc (Florence) of Shediac, Mrs. Herve Leger (Marie-Mai) and Mrs. Bernard Arsenault (Pauline), both of Buctouche, Mrs. Raoul Maillet (Mable) of Ste. Marie, and Mrs. Roger Bernard (Murielle) of St. Paul; two brothers, Edgar and Frank, both of Buctouche; one sister, Delima Nowlan of Moncton; 21 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The body is at Maillet Funeral Home, Buctouche. Funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Buctouche at 7 p.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
