Conrad Nadeau-
Nadeau, Conrad L., of St. Joseph passed away on Thursday March 18, 2010 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital at the age of 82. Born April 21, 1927 in Lac Baker NB, he was the son of the late Lazare Nadeau and the late Marie Beaulieu. He was employed as a welder for Standadyne in Windsor CT until his retirement. He served in the US army reserve for 36 years, rank Master Sergeant and was a veteran of the 2nd World War, member of the VFW and of the Knight of Columbus 4th degree. He is survived by his wife Pauline (Leger) Nadeau, two daughters Mary Jane (Brian) Laws of Florida, Elaine (Edward) Burges of Enfield CT, two sons, Paul (Lois) Nadeau of Richmond, VA and Marc (Alison) Nadeau of Tollen, CT, one sister, Lucille (Alcide) Soucier of Broadbrock, CT, eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased five sisters, Georgina, Aurore, Gemma, Itha, Blanche and by five brothers, Leonide, Albenie, Medard, Eddie, Emile. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Monday March 22 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday March 23 from 1 to 2:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook RC church, St-Joseph on Tuesday March 23 at 3:00 pm. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
