The death of Albert E. Biddington, 112 King Street, Moncton, occurred Thursday at Moncton Hospital following a brief illness. He was 74. Born in Shediac, he was the son of the late George T. and Elizabeth (Bourque) Biddington and attended the Assumption Cathedral. A retired locomotive engineer with CN,he was a member of the CN Appleton Club, the Brotherhood of locomotive engineers and a member of Old Assumption Band. He is survived by his wife, former Agnes Collette ; six daughters, Mrs. Violet Crawford, Mrs. Paul Cormier, (Marguerite), Mrs. Walter Boudreau (Ruth), Miss Irene Biddington, R.N., Mrs. Murray Leger (Mildred), and Mrs. Ronald Coleman (Hazel), all of Moncton; Three sons, Elmer Biddington, Norman and George, all of Moncton; five brothers, Vincent of Ottawa, Percy of Barachois, Edward of Shediac Road, Fred of Shediac, and Thomas of Fort Charlotte, Fla.; 17 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's Funeral Home, Moncton. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Assumption Cathedral with interment in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic cemetery.
