Death Mrs. P. Leger
The death of Mrs. Pierre Leger of Memramcook West occurred Wednesday at her home after three weeks of illness. She was 90. The former Eugenie Bourque, she was born at Beaumont, a daughter of the late Ferdinand and Osithe (Belliveau) Bourque. Surviving are, three daughters, Mrs. Camille Cormier (Bella) and Miss Alida Leger, both of Moncton and Miss Laudia Leger of Memramcook West, six sons, Arthur, Ferdinand, Gerard and Camile, all of Memramcook West, Clement of Moncton and Andre of Toronto; one sister, Sister St. Therese du St. Sacrement (Hermance) of Sherbrooke, Que; three brothers, Tilmon of Memramcook West, Fidele and Thaddee, both of Moncton; 34 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. The body is resting at her home with funeral to be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at St Thomas Roman Catholic Church in St. Joseph. Entombment will be in the parish cemetery vault for burial later in the spring.
