Final Tribute Paid Late Joseph Leger -
The funeral of the late Joseph Leger, who passed away on January 1, was held Saturday morning from St. Anselme Church, with Requiem High Mass at nine a. m. Mr. Leger, born in Upper Aboujagane, N. B., had lived in Dieppe for the past 25 years, passing away at the home of David Arsenault, Lewisville. Surviving, besides his wife, are three sons, Dos of Moncton, Clarence and Fred of Minto, N. B., and two daughters, Mrs. Leroy Brown, River Hebert, N. S., and Mrs. William Brown, Joggins, N. S., Ambrose Leger and Janis Leger, of Joggins, N. S., are brothers. Mrs. Edmund King, and Mrs. Henry King, Lewisville, are step-daughters while Joe Arsenault, Dieppe, and David Arsenault, Lewisville, are step-sons. Interment was made in Fox Creek cemetery. Many mass cards, messages of sympathy and beautiful floral tributes testified to the esteem in which Mr. Leger was held by his many friends, relatives and acquaintances. Pallbearers were Charles Carey, Harold Carey, Lloyd Leger, Donald Leger, Dave Arsenault and Irenee LeBlanc.
