M. Leger Cocagne (Special) -
Funeral mass for Maxime Leger, whose death occurred Friday at the Stella Maris Hospital in St. Anne, was celebrated Sunday at St. Peter's and Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Cocagne. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Prayers at the grave were said by Rev. Armand LeBlanc. Pall bearers were Gerard Gallant, Ronald Gallant, Raymond Collette, Donald Richard, Paul Leger and Norman Cormier. Mr. Leger was born in Cocagne, a son of the late Joseph and Genevieve (Breau) Leger. He was a farmer having retired about 15 years ago. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Blanche Depres; six daughters, Mrs. John Gallant (Rita), Mrs. Patrick Richard (Aline), Mrs. Eric Cormier, (Doris), Mrs. Donat Colette (Theresa) and Mrs. Do Arsenault (Dorina), all of Cocagne and Mrs. Martin Gallant (Alfreda) of Halifax and one son, Alcide, at home.
