Mrs. L. Brien Shediac (Special) -
The death of Mrs. Ada Brien of Shemogue, widow of Laurent Brien, occurred at the Villa Providence Home in Shediac following a lengthy illness at the age of 80. Born in Litte Cape, she was a daughter if the late Napoleon Ouelette and the former Emilienne Leger. She was a member of the Shemogue Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Steeves Myett (Tillie) of Dartmouth, Mrs. Bill Moorehouse (Sophie) of London, Ont., Mrs. Claude Aube (Alida) of Sault St. Marie, Ont., Mrs. Dina Bourque of Toronto and Mrs. Bill Owens (Sally) of St. John; three sons, abel of Little Cap, John of St, John, and Charles of Scarborough; a step-son, Edmond of Cap Ball; four sisters, Mrs. Olive Leger of Fitchburg, Mass., Mrs. Deandre Cormier of Cap Pele, Mrs. Joseph Bougeault of Melrose, Mass., and Mrs. Marie Melanson of Shediac; three brother, Napoleon Ouellette, Odias Ouellette and Johnny Ouellette, all of Little Cap; 23 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home in Shediac. Funeral mass will be held from the Shemogue Sunday at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Shemogue Roman Catholic Cemetery.
