Death Occurs in Moncton Hospital -
The death of Mrs. Mack LeBlanc of Memramcook East occured in the Hotel Dieu in Moncton on December 29 and was regretted by a wide circle of friends and relatives. Her funeral was held on the following Tuesday and was attended by a large congregation of people in St. Thomas Church, St. Joseph. Requiem high mass was sung by Rev. E. D'Aoust, parish priest assisted by Father Gendron as deacon and Father Theriault as sub-deacon. The pallbearers were her five sons, Narcisse, Albeni, Fred, Willie and Lucien LeBlanc and a son-in-law, Edgar Landry. Interment was in St. Thomas cemetery. Mrs. LeBlanc is survived by seven children, five sons and two daughters. The sons are Narcisse, Albeni, Fred and Willie of Memramcook and Lucien of Moncton. The daughters are Mrs. Eloi Leger (Rosanne) of Moncton, and Mrs. Pat Bourgeois (Amanda) of Memramcook, Mrs. Eustache Gautreau of Pre d'en Haut is a sister and Vital Cormier of Belliveau Village is a brother. Her husband died 14 years ago. Many floral tributes, mass cards and letters of sympathy were received indicating the high esteem in which she was held. Among those from distant points attending the funeral were Mrs. Blair Babineau and Mrs. Corinne Leger of Moncton and Mrs. John Hendrickson of Shediac.
