LEGER, Dora -
Dora Leger, 84, of West Hartford, passed away quietly on Friday, (November 6, 2009) in Newington. Born in Saint-Paul-de-Kent, Canada, daughter of the late Gilbert and Arzelie (LeBlanc) Leger she was a resident of West Hartford for over 30 years. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at The Aetna for 31 years. Dora is survived by three sisters, Ida LeBlanc of Saint Paul, Canada, Ella Leger of West Hartford and Lauraine Leger of Moncton, Canada, as well as many nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Canada. She was predeceased by two sisters and three brothers, Vezina Boucher, Alban Leger, Jude Leger, Denise Henri and Sylvain Leger. The family would like to thank the staff of the dementia unit at Newington Healthcare for their excellent service and care. Funeral procession will be Wednesday, 9:15 a.m. from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. in St. Mark the Evangelist Church, West Hartford. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours will be TODAY from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
