Leo P. Leger -
Many in Moncton and elsewhere were shocked to learn of the death yesterday of Leo P. Leger, Canadian National Railways shopman. He was one of the best known musicians, in Moncton and highly esteemed otherwise. Mr. Leger was a veteran of the First Great War and for many years was a member of l'Assomption band. Mr. Leger had been ill about six months but his death came as a shock to many people. He is survived by his wife; and three children, Irene, Louise and Paul. Four brothers and two sisters also survive. The brothers are Anthony of Montreal; Philip and Arthur of Moncton and Alyre of Scoudouc. The sisters are Mrs. Z.M. Leger and Mrs. Judith Melanson, both Moncton. The funeraI will be held Sunday Afternoon with service at 4 p.m. in l'Assomption Cathedral.
