Mrs. Damien LeBlanc Cape Bald, Dec. 13 -
Much regret was felt in this community and elsewhere in the death of Mrs. Damien LeBlanc (nee Lea Boudreau), which occurred on Nov. 24th at the family residence in Cape Bald, after a three, day's illness. She was 67 years of age. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Belliveau (Leontine), Mrs. Loney Leger (Sara) of Boudreau Office, N.B. and one son, Leonide, of Cape Bald, also an adopted daughter Mrs. Charles LeBlanc (Rhea), of Dupuis Corner, N.B. There are also three brothers, Amedee Boudreau, of Los Angeles, Cal.; Neree and Ferdinand Boudreau, of, Boudreau Office, and a sister, Anna at the Providence Home, Shediac. Another sister, Mrs. Calixte Boudreau, (Alvina), of New Bedfrd, Mass., predeceased her by eight days. The funeral was held on Nov. 26th. Solemn requiem high mass was sung by Rev. Dr. F. A. Bourgeois of Shediac, assisted by Rev. P. Robichaud of Shemogue, and Rev. L. Leger of Port Elgin, as deacon and Sub-deacon, respectfully. The commital prayers at the graves were said by Rev. D. Robichaud, parish priest. The pallbearers were, M.M. Emerie, Joseph, Louis, Raymond LeBlanc, Gerard and Rudolohe Boudreau, all nephews. Those from outside points attended the funeral were, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred LeBlanc, Moncton; Mr. and Mrs. Gerard LeBlanc, Amherst, N.S.; Emerie LeBlanc, Halifax, N.S.; Pte. Louis LeBLanc, Aldershot, N.S.; Oliver Leger, Napoleon Bourgeois, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Boudreau, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Belliveau, all of Shediac; Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Boudreau, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Boudreau, Neree Boudreau, Ferdinand Boudreau, Mrs, Antoine Boudreau, of Boudreau Office; Pte. Antoine Boudreau, Utopia, N.B.; Mrs. Eloi Cormier, Barachois; Alphee T. LeBlanc, Mrs. Georges Leger, Mrs. Fred A. LeBlanc, all of Shemogue. ....
