Mrs. A. Bourque ST. JOSEPH -
The death of Mrs. Alida Bourque, wife of the late Tillman Bourque of Memramcook-West, occurred at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital Saturday morning after a brief illness. She was 90. Born in Dupuis Corner, she was the daughter of the late Mathias Gagnon and Eulalie Leger. She attended St. Thomas Roman. Catholic Church in St. Joseph. She is survived by five daughters, Miss Alilda Bourque of Memramcook, Mrs. Amelda Landry of Montreal, Mrs. Germaine Andrews of Kingston, Ont, Mrs. Alfred Cormier (Prescilla) of Presque Isle, Me., and Mrs. Conrad Blanchette (Annette) of Dieppe; five sons, Thaddee, Laurie, Camille and Joseph, all of Memramcook West, and Gerard of Moncton; one sister, Miss Eliza Gagnon of Dupuis Corner; one brother, Gasperd Gagnon of Dupuis Corner 45 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. The body is resting at her home. Funeral will be from St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church in St Joseph today at 3:15 p.m. with interment in the parish cemetery.
