Levi Goguen -
The death of Levi Goguen, Cocagne, occurred in the Hotel Dieu, Moncton, Thursday morning after a lengthy illness, He was 72 years old and was born in Cocagne the son of the late Philippe and Elizabeth Goguen. he was a retired farmer retiring in 1962. He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Cocagne and a member of the Sacred Heart League. Surviving are his wife, the former Prescille Cormier, Cocagne; four daughters, Miss Florence Goguen and Mrs. Leo Cormier (Louise), Waltham, Mass., Mrs. Leo Cormier (Carmeline), Breau Village and Mrs. Ulysse Bourque (Aline) St, Anthony; six sons, Yvon and Henrie Goguen, Waltham, Mass., Leandre Goguen, Cocagne, Aurele Goguen, Waltham, Mass., Lionel and Philippe both of Bridgeport, Conn. Five Sisters, Mrs. Philippe Leger, Fitchburg, Mass., Rev. Sister marie Colombe, NDSE, Grand Falls, Mrs. John Arsenault, Gardner, Mass., Mrs. Clovis LeBlanc, Cocagne and Mrs. Arthur Girouard (Edmee), Danville, N.J.; three brothers, Rene Goguen of Newton, Mass., Alcide Goguen of Gardner, Mass. and Clarence Goguen, Fitchburg. Twenty four grandchildren also survive. The funeral service will be held in St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Cocagne, Sunday at 3 p.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery vault.
