Highly Esteemed Kent County Lady Dies Cocagne, N. B. Dec 6 -
Kent county lost one of its oldest and most highly respected residents Thursday morning in the person of Mrs. Mary Bourgeois, widow of Damien Bourgeois, whose death occurred in Cocagne. She was eighty-seven years of age and is survived by a son, Wilfred, with whom she resided and a daughter, Mrs. Harry Whalen, (Maude) of Moncton. Also surviving are two stepsons, Arthur, living in Iowa and William of Radisson, Saskatchewan, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Fred Leger, of Joggins. Mrs. Bourgeois was the former Miss Mary Sherry, of Prince Edward Island. The funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in St. Peter's Church, Cocagne.
