Alfred C. Breau -
The death of Alfred C. Breau of 86 Lewis Street, Moncton, occurred Monday at Moncton Hospital Annex following a lengthy illness. He was 73. Born in Memramcook, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Breau (Delphine Richard). He was a retired moulder helper with the Canadian National Railways after 43 years of Service. He attended Assumption Cathedral and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is the last survivor of a family of five. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucie Breau (Melanson); two daughters, Mrs. Hector Leger (Viola), and Mrs. Walter Ermen (Florine), both of Moncton; seven sons, Roy, Paul, Ronald, and Raymond, all of Moncton, Alfred and Alcide, Fitchburg, Mass.; and Henrie (Hank) of the United States Air Force; as well as 25 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, with the funeral service to be held Thursday at 10 a.m. from Assumption Cathedral. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery.
