Death A. P. Bourque -
Angus P. Bourque, a barber here for many years, died suddenly at his residence Saturday morning. He was in his 66th year. He was a son of the late Philippe and Sara (Bourque) of Scoudouc and operated a barber shop at the corner of Wesley and St. George street for 36 years before selling his shop last year and working for Main Street shop. He was a member of Assumption parish and of the Sacred Heart Society. Surviving are his wife, the former Rita Leger; one son, Robert A. Moncton; five sisters, Mrs. Edmond Cormier (Eva), and Mrs. Alfred Melanson (Alice), Scoudouc, Mrs. Alphee Hebert (Flora) and Mrs. Paul LeBlanc (Kate), Moncton and Mrs. Anselme Belliveau, also of Scoudouc; two brothers, George and Camile, Scoudouc. Three grandchildren also survive. The body is resting at Frenette's Funeral Home, Church Street. Funeral will be held at Assumption Cathedral Monday at 9 a.m., with interment in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery.
