Death Occurs A. Richard Upper Aboujagane (Special) —
The death of Alderic Richard occurred Saturday morning at Hotel Dieu, Moncton after a lengthy illness. He was 69. Born here, a son of the late Arthur and Leonie (Leger) Richard, he was a retired postal worker. He had been in that occupation for 26 years. He was a First World War veteran. Survivors include his wife, the former Agnes Cormier; seven daughters, Mrs. Alyre Boudreau (Lucy), Mrs. Robert Leger (Yvonne), Mrs. Aubrey Dallaire (Dorilla), Mrs. Azore Porelle (Emerise), Mrs. Francis LeBlanc (Florence), all of Upper Aboujagane, Mrs. Leo LeBlanc (Rose) of Waltham, Mass., Mrs. Normand Bourque (Huberte), of Cape Bald. Six sons also survive: Alderice of Shediac; Ulysses of Fitchburg, Mass., Arthur, Yvon, Eric, Norbert, all of Upper Aboujagane; one sister, Mrs. Harvey LeBlanc (Alexina) of Barachois; two brothers, Mosley of Shediac, Henry of Upper Aboujagane, Fifty-eight grandchildren also survive. The body is resting at Richard's Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held this morning at 10:00 in the Sacred Heart Church, Upper Aboujagane. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
