L. Belliveau Buctouche (Special) -
The death of Levi Belliveau of Buctouche occurred at his home on Wednesday following a brief illness. He was 85. Born in Buctouche, he was a son of the late Honore and Mary (Vienneau) Belliveau and the husband of the former Ida LeBlanc. Besides his wife, he is survived by nine daughters, Mrs. Romeo McGraw (Edna) of Tracadie, Mrs. Willie LeBlanc (Anna) of Halifax, Mrs. AIbert Lirette (Rebecca) and Mrs. Augustine Robichaud (Edmee) both of Saint John, Mrs. Joe Mills (Noella), Mrs. Stanley Hebert (Mary Paul) both of Moncton, Mrs. Ernest LeBlanc (Stella) and Mrs. Phil Leger (Emerice) both of Buctouche Bay, Mrs. Mathieu McFadden (Zelia) of Buctouche; two sons, Felix of Moncton, and Zoel of Memramcook; four sisters, Mrs. Joe Poirier (Regine) of Buctouche, Mrs. Onesime Jaillet (Adele) of Buctouche Bay, Mrs. Pierre Poirier (Rose) of Richibucto, Mrs. Jaddus Casey (Anna) in Maine; 51 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. The body is resting at Richard's Funeral Home, here. Funeral service will be in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Time and date will be announced.
