Mrs. I. Myers -
Mrs. Ida Myers, 92, of Forbes Special Care Home, Moncton, widow of Thomas Myers, died Thursday at the Moncton Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Moncton she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Rose (Leger) William. She was a member of Notre Dame de Grace Roman Catholic Church, Parkton, and the Ladie's Auxiliary, Royal Canadian Legion Moncton Branch 6. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Albert Cormier (Anita) and Mrs. Jean-Paul Ouinet (Dora), both of Montreal, and Mrs. Placide Lirette (Loretta), Mrs. Maxime Arsenault (Mabel), Mrs. Jerry Mills (Florence) and Dorothee Myers, all of Moncton; seven sons, Tony and Ronnie, both of Ontario, and Clarence, Leo, Len, Gerry and Ernest, all of Moncton; one sister, Suzanne of Massachusetts; 112 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Emma, two sons, Vincent and Laurie, three sisters, Agnes, Delphine and Marie, and five brothers, Frank, David, Henry, Louis and Angus, died previously. The body will be at Charterville Funeral Home, Dieppe, this evening. Funeral mass will be celebrated Sunday at Notre Dame de Grace Roman Catholic Church at a time to be announced. Burial will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dieppe.
