Death Mrs. A. Saulnier -
The death of Mrs. Marie Saulnier, widow of Alfred Saulnier, 434 Acadia Ave., occurred Wednesday at the Providence Home in Shediac. She was 70. She was born at Cocagne, daughter of the late Albert Despres. She is survived by her mother, the former Suzanne Downing, four daughters, Mrs. Clarence Melanson (Theresa), Mrs. Gerald McLaughlin (Helene), both of Dieppe, Mrs. Maurice Landry (Catherine), Waltham, Mass., and Mrs. Charles Sexton (Andrea), Sydney, N.S., and two sons, Albert of Lakeburn, and Dominique of Dieppe. Eight sisters, Mrs. Betty Handke, Florida, Mrs. Helen Ronnie, California. Mrs. Cora Evans, Boston, Mrs. Francis Lavoie and Mrs. Alcide Demers of Gardner, Mass., Mrs. Evelyn Leger, Mrs. Walter Schella, and Mrs. Alfred LeBlanc of Moncton, and two brothers, George Despres and Leonard Despres, of Moncton, also survive. The body will rest at Frenette's funeral home from 3 p.m. Thursday, and the funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church in Dieppe. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Charterville.
