Death Occurs Mrs. D. Auffrey -
The death of Mrs. Daniel (Elise) Auffrey, 251 Elmwood Drive, occurred this morning at Hotel Dieu following a brief illness. Born at Upper Aboujagane, 70 years ago, she was the daughter of Mrs. Eugenie (Gagnon) Leger and the late Patrick Leger. Mrs. Auffrey attended Stella Maris Roman Catholic chapel at Sunny Brae. Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother; four daughters, Mrs. Philip Johnson (Marguerite), Toronto, Mrs. Romeo Robichaud (Corine), Ghana, Africa, Mrs. Clovis LeBlanc (Rita), Lewisville, and Louise Auffrey, Moncton; and four sons, Angus and George, Moncton, Francis, Toronto, and Laurie, Toronto. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Doucet (Sophie), Gardner, Mass., Mrs. George Bourgard (Florine), Fitchburg, Mass., and Mrs. Tim Martin (Olive), Fitchburg, Mass.; eight brothers, Tonis, Edmond, Emile, Louis, Patrick, and Philias, all of Fitchburg, Edward and Zacarie, both of Philadelphia; and 12 grandchildren. The body will be resting at Frenette's Funeral Home from 7 p.m. this evening. The funeral mass will be held Friday morning from Stella Maris chapel, Sunny Brae at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery.
